I couldn’t really google an answer to his problem. Lately, he complains that his penis burns. When I take a closer look, I can easily rule out the penis head and confirm that it is probably his foreskin. I don’t know if I should call it a tight foreskin, but the only thing wrong with it is that the hole on the skin is very small. It can be stretched. It doesn’t seem wrong in any other way . Only the complaint with the size. When it burns I do not even see it swelling. Might be slightly red. And that’s all.
anyone else know anything about this?
update: Now and then I see that it bleeds a few drops at the tip. But the bleeding stops after sometime and things are normal for a few days.

My son had a similar issue around 7 or 8 years old. In his case a doctor advised on proper hygiene practices and it cleared up by itself with no recurrence. I would suggest a visit to the doctor for your son sooner rather than later for safety sake and discomfort relief.
Yes. He was older so perhaps better able to retract foreskin for washing.
Is your son dry at night? If not maybe it’s a kind of nappy rash. Maybe doctor or even pharmacist may suggest a cream to help pain relief and clear up inflammation.
sometimes if the pants are too tight or material is not suitable and uncomfortable that can cause irritation . Also the food and drinks if there is too much spice that can cause some irritation . If it persists take him back .
I think this is normal then. My younger son had this when he was around 4. It was just some pain from the foreskin separating from the penis head. While uncomfortable for your son he should be fine. Baking soda baths seemed to help my son.
what you are describing is totally normal in a child that age. You do not need to stretch or manipulate the foreskin. If you do so before it naturally separates, it can cause micro scarring and adhesions which can be painful. It can be painful to stretch it. It can take until teen years to naturally retract. If there's still an issue by 15 then worry about it. As far as pain goes, my son started a yeast infection with pain after a wet swim suit. Later his penis became swollen too. We applied clotmitrozole 1% every 3 hours in a thick layer covering the entire area for 3 days then an additional 3 days applying it 3 times per day. Baking soda baths (about 1/2c in a few inches of water helped sooth the discomfort).
Other ideas are that he could be having separation pain, he could have UTI, or he could have a bacterial infection. Did he take antibiotics recently? Is he in diapers? I'm in the US and many doctors here are extremely ignorant about intact penises, they will actually injury kids trying to force it back. Idk where you are but a doctor might help
If it burns, he might have an infection. The hole isn't supposed to be large. As long as he can pee, let it be. I'm hoping that no one has forcefully retracted his prepuce (foreskin) as that could lead to problems like phimosis and infection.
The ballooning will happen if the senechia between the inner layer separates from the glans. The end of the prepuce acts like a one-way valve to allow urine out while keeping other things out.
There are books by Dr. Fahmy (a pediatric urologist) that talks about the prepuce.
Do not force his foreskin you may do harm. When bathing him only use very mild soap and rinse well. Change his underwear as soon as possible if he wets them. Also, there is the possibility of a reaction with clothes, especially if he has some of a type not worn before or different cleaning products. Start with the easy stuff first. Meanwhile a cream such as Sudocrem will ease the discomfort.
