Bleeding after circumcision

Hi All. I had my circumcision 6 days ago under a general anesthetic and home same day. Day 1 was fine, could see it all, day 2 to 5, it constantly bleed, clotted, the clot would come out and then bleeding again. Now, it has a clot under the head and skin, when I pull it back, I can see the clot amd stitches. Now it has mostly stopped bleeding apart from elections at night. Now going to the toilet makes it leak and the sensitivity is almost unbearable, It's nearly 7 days and I feel terrible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated? Thank you.

i dont move that much in 2 weeks, and i dont wear underwear, just a boxer, stay home all the time. Whenever i go out with any kind of pants it hurt till 1 month

I had the same experience but I kept my Johnson wrapped in toilet paper and just wait 2-3 weeks you’ll be just fine. Sensitivity should fall within the next few days actually.

Don’t worry, this is all part of the healing process. I had mine done in June and the first few weeks saw many changes and feelings as the penis recovers. It’s had a major Trauma so will take time to recover. I would say the first 3 weeks are the worst, after that it does get much easier, believe me. The best tip I could give you is to go to your local pharmacy and buy some of the ‘adult pads’ that are used for incontinence - I used them rather than bandages and found them to be much more comfortable. Used them for a good 3-4 weeks post surgery and couldn’t have done without them.

What did u use the pads for? Dribbling? I'm at day 13 right now. I'm 39, I don't know if it happens to all me as we get older but even before circ I noticed sometimes I would dribble after peeing nothing crazy but just a few drops. But I've noticed that I dribble more since circ again only at 13 days and still healing with stitches. But I think most of the dribbling is bcuz I can't really shake after bcuz I don't wanna tear a stitch. Lol so I've just been patting it dry with toilet paper

it because internal swelling, thats causing the dribbling of pee, just patting it.so dont ever think to masturbate before 1 month, cause you cant see the internal swelling

Thank you,your reply is quite reassuring. Today it seems to be still bleeding, I did get some pads and it's much better indeed.

mine was done in July… I’m just under 4 months now and it’s great! There are brighter days ahead and it’s not that long to wait! Honest!

But the first few weeks are tough. Based on my experience… I’d say you’re right in the sweet spot of the really bad bit! I don’t say that to make you feel bad… but that every single day gets a tiny bit better from here!

For me day 4-9 were close to unbearable and I wondered how I’d cope each day. But then… by magic at around day 10 it starts to get easier. In fact, every day from day 5 got a little better. I slept a little better, the night time boners didn’t hurt quite as much, the bleeding wasn’t quite so bad. Enjoy the small wins and know you’re getting a little better each day.

If you’re anything like me, you’ll notice a massive difference around day 14… and again on day 21. Hang on in there buddy - you can do this! It’s gonna be fine!

it really will!! Day 12/14 is a step change… and day 21 is almost normal!! That being said I think I still had some swelling at 3 months so don’t expect a full return to normality for some time

Hi Jasper, now my bleeding is next to none but enough to still wear quaze im my pants. It's becoming itchy as the head still seems to be quite hidden and now I see there is something like smegma under the skin which hurts so bad to try and clean, it's so very difficult im beginning to wish I never had it. 😢

Hey buddy - it'll be OK!! Just you're at a really tough stage!!

Are you soaking in saltwater each day? I boiled a kettle and filled a small pot with boiling water and some salt... 40 minutes I found was about perfect to let it Coll to an OK temperature... then would sit on toilet seat with my cock in the saltwater for about 10 minutes. I did once a day, but I've heard other guys on here say twice a day.

Beyond the daily saltwater, I wouldn't be trying to clean it as you might hurt yourself... and one or two ten minute soaks a day in salt day should keep him pretty clean and hygienic.

The hygiene routine is a bit of a chore... but well worth it. In anther week or so suddenly everything starts to get better buddy!!

For the sensitivity I've read from other ppls posts that if u wrap ur stitch and head with a non adhesive gauze and then a light gauze roll and maybe put neosporin on the incision line that it's more bearable to move around. And then you can stop and desiensitize on week 2 or 3 once the swelling has gone down a bit and make sure u change the gauze 1-2 times daily and sleep with it uncovered. I didn't really have to go through desensitization bcuz my head was almost always exposed since I was early 20s. Bcuz I discovered I could "wear" my foreskin with my head fully exposed even when soft and my foreskin would stay folded on my shaft just below my head so it actually looked like I was circumcised but u wasn't. Anyway hope that helps
