I underwent a Circumcision 3 weeks back with dissolvable sutures. All the sutures have fallen off along with the scab. Currently penis skin looks like as shown in picture. I have 2 questions.
1) The scars seen under the head of penis, Are they because of stitches that are present under the skin and would dissolve in future. Or they are just skin lumps left after the wound healed. Will they go away in future ?
2) Given, I don't have any visible stitches sticking out and no pain around the wound area and no swelling/bleeding/pus etc. when is it possible to resume Sex. I know it is advised to take it easy for first month with condom and lube. I want to resume it after completing 4 weeks since the procedure.
All the websites on internet only mention to not have sex before 6 weeks due to the possibility of HIV transmission. My concern is not that since my sexual activity is with my partner. What i wanted to understand is If there is a high chance of the wound getting torn up or getting worse, if sexual activity is resumed. After 4 weeks, is the Penis skin which looks healed at surface still very weak ? or can withstand normal light sexual activity. Is it a common case where people have torn the skin wound due to early sex activity ?

I think lumps on the incision site will smooth when time goes by. You may start to use moisturizer. Scar is like damaged skin and won't moisturize itself like intact skin. Mineral oils or organic oils are more common to use.
You will read in many posts on the forum that 3 weeks is early in the healing process. Fresh penile skin is obviously going to be more fragile than existing skin. Were you not given post-op care instructions by your surgeon?
I was given advise, But he said start with masturbation before moving to sex. I was just afraid to try anything because of the posts i read on this forum. Currently, I am on Day 24 and i have no pain at all during erection or flaccid state.
I am feeling pain in frenulum area after sex. Also there is lots of swelling on scar area which goes away completely after 20 hours of sex. Will it get better ?
