Bumps reduction . Cream ?

Hello everyone,

I had a circumcision surgery 2.5 months ago. The healing process went well, without any pain or issues. However, I have noticed some small bumps (from stiches prob) and a bit of swelling. Can anyone recommend a cream to help reduce the bumps and keep the area dry? Would Bepanthol be suitable for this?

Hey there. I used Vaseline right up to 2.5 months, then stopped using anything, even on bumps. I had a few of them around the same place to the left of my frenulum all swollen and a bit sensitive to the touch, just leaving them alone has worked wonders. I found any creams and oils just irritated the hell out of my glands, so I just decided to pack it all in. I would keep an eye and if it gets worse to go see your doc.

Hey, I had a few bumps till a few months after my circumcision last October too. I was concerned about them, just like you are, but trust me - leaving them as-is does wonders. I can hardly see any now. Happy recovery!

Yes it's good to use cream while you're healing, but then leave it alone. The bumps will go in their own time.
