Hi,

For past 6 month my penile glans became very dry and wrinkly (possibly cause of some other health condition diabetes 2 or general stress that made my general health weaker). 2 month ago I went to dermatologist who took swab test samples from glans and inside urethra which returned negative for whatever they tested it. He told me not to worry cause it is just something that irritates your glans. This was what he said and two month later still i have these bumps kinda looks like scar tissues from sex or masturbation (friction burn scars or yest infection scars something like that). I want your opinion if you have ever encountered something like this or had it yourselves thank you. By the way sex or masturbation makes it irritated more I guess kinda looks like balanitis too but since he told me it was nothing to worry about I did not continue investigation.

P.S. I used coconut oil for past few weeks and wrinkled on penis glans reduced as I am circumcised I thought some kind of natural lubrication of skin would help a problem bit.

I would find out what you have been tested for and take it from there. Your dermatologist should be able to give you the actual test results.

I went to see dermatologist today, he did not do any test went straight away and did cryosurgery on my penis, froze every bump and told me to check back with him after two weeks, when I asked what is this he said its HPV.

It is associated with, among other things, cervical cancer.

“Human papillomavirus infection (HPV infection) is an infection caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). About 90% of HPV infections cause no symptoms and resolve spontaneously within two years. However, in some cases, an HPV infection persists and results in either warts or precancerous lesions. These lesions, depending on the site affected, increase the risk of cancer of the cervix, vulva, vagina, penis, anus, mouth, or throat. Nearly all cervical cancer is due to HPV; with two types, HPV16 and HPV18, accounting for 70% of cases.Between 60% and 90% of the other cancers listed above are also linked to HPV. HPV6 and HPV11 are common causes of genital warts and laryngeal papillomatosis.”
