Hello, a couple days ago I noticed a 'line' of bumps that goes around my glans. They are not painful or itchy or causes discomfort at all. When touched, you can totally feel that they are hard bumps. What could it be?

I have phimosis, could it be smegma build up?

I enhanced the image so it looks more visible, the camera couldn't capture it quite well, but it is more noticeable and visible in person. theyre only visible when erect

I think that's smegma

Hi, yes it's probably smegma if you cannot retract your foreskin at all. It is important to wash underneath your foreskin. I understand it is probably not easy for you even if you could retract when your flaccid and wash this will really help.

you really should visit your GP they can help with some cream to start with.

thanks. but I cannot wash it because i cant even retract while flaccid, i can only see half the head(yeah its that tight).

when all of this virus thing is over I will be seeing my gp

Ok it's really tight then definitely when you can go to see your GP they will advise you on the best options for you.

In the meantime you could try using a syringe with some lukewarm water under your foreskin to try and soften the smegma with massaging it and hopefully some of it might wash out. Have you always had phimosis or is it just something that started?

That make sense man that's why you have a buildup. did your parents ever mention to you when you were younger to try and retract your foreskin and wash underneath. I wouldn't worry too much it's something that can be sorted when things get back to normal.
