3 weeks healing today. My absorbable stitches are beginning to emerge and fall out... some are hanging about, others are disappearing in the shower/pants.
However, I'm getting new discomfort around the back to the left of my frenulum, almost like a pulling or tugging sensation on the stitches.
Basically... is that normal? Did anyone else experience it and did any particular ways of sitting or clothes help to relieve the sensation?
Cheers, all.

Hey man. Yes. My frenulum area was sore and the most sensitive the longest. Mine wasn't cut but I had the pulling feeling you mention, especially when I got an erection. I'm 4 months now and it's not tight at all now. I'd say it's normal. I applied Vaseline and wore tight underpants with my penis held upright. This stopped movement and rubbing. In the early days I put a bandage on too to further stop rubbing. Removing in the shower. Salt water dipping also helped!
Just an update - most visible stitches have fallen out now, the frenulum stitch is the last one visible. I'm nearly at 5 weeks healed, with plenty more healing to go, but in a much better place physically and mentally. The pulling sensation is still there at times, but it's more intermittent rather than permanent. Also, back in pants and driving again now. 11 days on, wow, a lot has changed.
Glad to be of some help. I came here just as I was about to have my circumcision. The stories and advice, not to mention the reassurance, have been invaluable. Feel free to message if you have any questions - I'm just about to hit 6 weeks healed.
