hi fellas I’m day 12 into my circ now and still very sore. I’m also worried that the area on the back of the head of my penis (the frenulum area) is healing a lot slower. It seems to always be moist from discharge and therefore quite sore and not healing as fast. I spoke with the doctor and he said the discharge is normal. Was just wondering if any of you guys have a similar experience?

was last place to heal for me - and I think I even had one stubborn stitch I had to remove myself from there! I now it’s difficult, but patience man. It will be OK and in a few months you’ll love it more than you know!

Yes Jasper71 is right on the money.The frenulum heals at a slower rate to the main incision wound and the discharge is likely to be lymphatic fluid - part of the body's natural immune response post circumcision.

You're wise to seek advice on your progress from your doctor and raise any concerns you have.

As your doctor would have advised high temperature, swelling, bleeding, bad odour from the wound are all red flags after circumcision but what you're experiencing sounds 100% normal. Keep up the good progress.

The frenulum area healed the slowest for me also, when I would have a shower or change my bandage it would bleed a little bit and hurt quite a lot but over several weeks everything starts to settle down.
