hi guys, I’m nearly 5 weeks post op. My stitches popped under my frenulum leaving me with quite a large area of exposure. I’ve been to the hospital & spoke to senior doctors & a surgeon who said it’s too far into the healing stage to be re stitched but advised to keep the area moist to break down the slough that’s currently embedded. My question is has anyone had this experience before & what did they use to help break it down? I’ve heard medihoney is good has anyone used this before? Thank you!

Hey man, hope you're okay. What did the docs recommend you use?
you need to keep the area clean and infection free. The wound will heal by secondary intention - from the inside outwards. It is quite common and nothing to worry about. teachmesurgery.com/skills/w...
Hey, I'm just past week four, one of the stitches came loose two weeks in on the underside, it looked a bit yellow/infected and I had a hole around 5mm wide so was freaking out. To be honest I have been playing with it a lot after about a week, my gland was very sensitive but it was mainly pleasurable than painful. I was very horny and I have a device that makes your cock vibrate without having to pull skin or masturbate so I could ejaculate. Not sure if my prolonged erections caused the stitch to come out. I was advised to use Activon medical grade honey and after about 2 weeks the hole is nearly closed. The honey draws infection out and keeps wound moist. When at home I would put it all around scar line then if I go out or sleep I would just put it where stitch is loose and put a plaster on to hold honey in place, then carefully take it off later. I would also soak it in warm salty water to make sure it was clean once or twice a day
Just a sab in the dark, but maybe coco butter? I bought some a long time ago and never used it. I bought it because I had read/watched it helped with skin. I might get it and try it now that I just had my circumcision. Here you go "Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. These substances may improve blood flow to the skin and slow skin aging by protecting against damage from the sun's harmful UV rays. One common use of cocoa butter is to smooth scars, wrinkles, and other marks on the skin."
