Circumcision infected ?( I’m new here )

Day 11 post op I’m not sure if it’s infected. Should I be worried ! As it’s started to feel itchy and strange smell coming from the area. I have been having salty bath to help with the healing. Just wondered if I’m over worrying about it

Hi, it probably is ok but if you're not sure or worried there's no harm in having it checked with your doctor you definitely don't want any infection. keep using the salted water to help with the healing.

Best bet is to see your doctor. If it's infected he will prescribe you Cephalexin 500 mg. Does it cause a lot of pain?

It’s only painful to touch.

I have seen the doctor. Got little infection. I have cut the stitches out myself now
