Partial Circumcision

Hey guys, I’m currently on day 11 post op. I had tight foreskin when erect and the dr recommended partial circumcision. Im going to try my best to explain this but it’s quite hard to put into words. I can’t remember when but one morning I woke up and on the right side of my dick, the skin was pulled back a little like away from the head of my penis as there was a scab in between. Today when I took my boxers off the scab had came off a bit, there are still some sticthes in the area but I’m worried as I’m not sure if this is healing correctly. Will this part of the skin eventually do the same as the rest of my penis and sit against the glans ? Or should I reach out to my dr Incase it’s because this area needs stitched again.

You really need to talk to your doctor. He/she is the only one that will fully understand the procedure that you had done and how it should be healing. Good luck

After 11 days the same wound cnnot be re-stitched because the skin edges will already be partially healed in themselves. A stitched joint requires freshly cut skin either side to join together properly.

Your would will, however, heal by secondary intention – that is from the bottom up rather than top down – without any further stitching.

If you keep the surfaces together and avoid erections for a while you should heal ok. But if worried go see Doc
