I was circumcised 36 hours ago . I have the dressing removed as advised but i’m finding attempts to clean the area difficult as 1: I’m concerned about upsetting the stitches ect and 2; It is so tender to touch.
Has anyone got advice please.

Yep fill the wash basin in your bathroom with some Luke warm water and add a couple of teaspoons of salt to it & just put your penis in & let it soak for a minute or two….then pat it dry gently with a towel. The salt will promote the healing process. 😃👍
Yep, warm salt water. I used cooled down boiled water, so it’s cleaner. Soak it for a few mins a couple times a day.
I was advised to leave it for 3 days which is what I done then shower as normal but just let the water from the shower run off you penis don’t attempt to wash it then just pat dry do this for a week after that you should be able to wash properly.
Been there mate! Just two weeks ago now.
At day three I showered and was very nervous of it, HOWEVER no pain felt from the water which I just let flow. I physically washed everywhere but that part as I had/ have the same issue as you (hypersensitivity)
I just let it "air dry" too.
I've been having showers every day and from tomorrow I'll be two weeks post surgery. Still no underwear worn.
Like you, I live alone so been able to be bottom free for the duration; starting to notice today that sensitivity is getting less so may try boxers today/ tomorrow.
The water has had no effect on the the stitches so don't worry about that. Mines are slowly starting to dissolve thank heaven.
I took short shallow baths in warm salt water, moving on to very mild baby soap.
Then showering, letting the water hit the head to 'acclimatise'.
I did it the other way about. First bath day 18.. it was fine, had showered every day from day three up to that.
Day 20 as I'm writing, only a few stitches left in.. sooner they go the better!
Dressing normally and walking near normally; odd for the first few steps then fine. That said microfibre underwear (a first for me, but a tip I picked up from this forum) was a game changer! 🤗
UPDATE on Day 9 , Still walking around bottom half naked. Suffering a little ( Lot ) from dry skin. I couldn’t use vaseline until day 6 because i couldn’t get out to buy any. Now as for that venture out to the supermarket. I went commando wearing fleecy joggers . Not my normal Caribbean attire but i have it for when i’m travelling to / From the uk. That trip to the supermarket couldn’t be over fast enough as every step was very tender . I am at the stage now where at night time I cover my genitalia lightly with a cotton pillow case . It helps acclimatise myself to fabric touching it and stops me wanting to pee constantly due to the fan blowing on it all nigh. I guess i’m coping as i’m fortunate ( in this instance ) to be living on my own for the next month. The salt water has definitely helped. Once i’m at the stage where the wound from the Frenulum can handle anything touching it I think life can be functional. I have flaky white dry skin and managed to soak a lot off in a warm Soapless bath but made the mistake of trying to get what i thought was a loose part off which disturbed a little part of the scab and it bled .
