Very strong odor after the circumcision procedure.

Hi, 8 days ago I had a circumcision surgery in the Czech Republic. Everything hurts and I am not able to function normally but most of all I have a problem with a disgusting smell from my penis. I soak it in water and wash it with soap but nothing helps. My doctor is a moron and doesn't reply to my emails or messages. There are no follow-up appointments with him either so I am doomed to be on my own. Has anyone also had a problem with strong odor?

Most of the times odours from wounds indicate infection. You have to see your GP as you might need antibiotics.

what i suggest you need to conduct with your Doctor on immediate basis to avoid any future issue and never use any soap untill unless your Dr recommended

soak it in warm sterile salt water a couple times a day to clean well and discourage infection. I had the same issue. Just needs a good clean mate!

I thought it was infected but was told by the doctor it needed a good clean bro.

If you are having functional issues along with odor , seek urgent care or visit emergency as this infection can worsen without prompt treatment!

It will be painful but that will improve. Wash gently in salt water or extremely mild baby soap. Take a short salt bath. Avoid normal soap.
