My glans are too sensitive even after 33days of the procedure. Cant even touch it. Have to cover the glans with cotton while wearing underwear otherwise cant even walk properly due to the stinging sensation.
Can u please help me out with it and i am even concerned about the healing progress.
Hey Rahul1024, I was circumcised over 3 months ago and my glans is still sensitive to touch too as before the operation my glans was never exposed due to phimosis. It can take quite a while before the sensitivity goes down. The only way to “speed it up” is to provide stimulation (I know it’s very uncomfortable from my own experience), otherwise it may be awhile, as in possibly months. If you had phimosis, your glans were never stimulated by any outside sources, so the foreskin used to keep your glans sensitive while still protecting it. Now, the newly exposed and sensitive glans is receiving brand new stimulation that it is not used to and will take time to adjust. Best of luck to ya.
Yes i got circumcised due to phimosis. But there must be some way to reduce the sensitivity. I am using coconut oil and want to know if it is okay to use it on stitches . Would it delay healing process ?
I am still not able to keep my head uncovered in underwear...and i still have little yellowish fluid coming out from one side from incision line...plz help !!
It can take awhile for the head sensitivity and discomfort to go away and feel normal, for some men it takes less than 2 weeks, other men it may take months. Try to expose it as much as you can so that your glans can desensitize. It may still take some time but if you keep your head covered and not expose it to anything, it will only delay the desensitization.
As for the yellow fluid, I would definitely check up with your urologist to confirm whether or not it is an infection. It could possibly be lymph fluid which is a natural bodily fluid that aids in the healing process. If there’s a bad smell coming from it, it very well may be an infection but the only way to be sure is to visit your doctor.
Hi, sensitivity can take a long time to go especially if you had phimosis. the best thing to do is to expose your glans as much as you can wearing some tight boxer briefs is best. I see from your photo you still have some swelling and possibly some stitches you should have the stitches removed they will slow your healing and could cause you some of your discomfort.
