flaccid and erect penis length less after circumcision

I had the procedure 2 weeks ago and now I really worried after losing 1 inch from my flaccid size and 1 inch from erect size, getting very anxious as I thought length would be back to normal by now...anybody have any advice??

Hi I actually gained size after my circumcision , I think possibly because things were “tight” it held a lot in, looking at it I’ve had a low/medium cut & it’s quite tight , I’ve heard that having higher/tight cut can cause a loss in length but others say different

I think you should ask the doctor but also wait until the healing is complete. If the skin is tight it could cause loss in size but maybe not. I think it’s too early to say.

don’t worry mine was the same, I totally freaked out but the length comes back. Use a steroid cream to bring swelling etc down

If it's only been two weeks, then it's way too early to judge. Unless it was a very tight circumcision, it's rare for circumcision to really make a difference to size, and some men report that theirs is larger (either longer or thicker) after circumcision.

Hi, can you provide an update? I’m close to 6 weeks post op, it seems like I still haven’t recovered my 1 inch lost in length when erected.

i'm 3 weeks, the cut is basically healed, a little scabbing but when I get an erection there's a tonne of pressure on the scarline

Doc said to apply silicone gel twice each day to help flatten the scar, maybe this will help regain some lost length as the scar is likely causing length to shorten from constriction

Has it improved since though? Your post 2 weeks post op. You’re about 2 months post op now if I did my math correctly

Still down about half inch in length, now my big worry is the scar, seems quite thick when I feel over it. I was hoping the scar would flatten out. I hope it is not hypertrophic or something...
