Evening guys, wondered if any of you have experienced a torn banjo string? I’m uncut, and need some advice on how to heal this up. I am still pulling my foreskin back to piss and shower, but it’s not helping the tear heal up. Don’t wanna not wash under the foreskin as want to keep it all clear under there, but it’s not helping the healing. Any advice would be welcomed.
Cheers.

Actually, it won't kill you to not retract for a time ... at least until you heal. Then start doing a simple "stretching" exercise to gradually lengthen your frenulum (see photo link below) Hold the "stretch" for like 30 seconds or so ... and occasionally repeat that stretch during the day. It will take time, but eventually you won't have the problem.
Understand ... but there are worse things. Also, there are millions of men who live their whole lives without being able to retract ... and they find that the foreskin is self-cleaning
Believe it or not i use to have this problem a lot. My advice would be put some first aid cream on it because it makes it heal faster also. Also pull the skin back and try to keep it back with the cream on as much as possible. The cream also helps with the pain you won't feel much as long as you keep the cream on it. I use to do it atleast 5 times a day and it healed in 3 days. That's why I got circumcised because I got tired of dealing with it. Hope it helps.
I tore my frenulum about 40 years ago, and while it was painful at the time, and difficult for a few weeks while it was healing, it healed up very well without any treatment. Your mileage may vary though, and I'd recommend you get it looked at by a GP - some cases require surgery, typically frenuloplasty or frenectomy.
Not retracting for a few days shouldn't be a problem while you're healing btw - all mammals (except for the monotremes ie echidnas and platypus) have foreskins, and they don't seem to have too many problems, despite generally living in what for us would be very unhygienic conditions, and being unable to clean under their foreskins.
How long ago did you tear it, and does it seem to be healing?
