It’s got to the stage that whether erect or not I cannot roll my foreskin back at all I haven’t been able to have sec in the last two years because of this every time I get an erection it hurts I’m over weight which is not helping the situation at all please someone give me some advice please cause not sure how much longer I can deal with this many thanks

CutRequired

Hi Giddz, sorry to hear what you’re currently experiencing. It sounds quite similar to what I have been through. I was unable to retract soft/hard up to approx 17 but then I managed to get it to retract in both situations. Although it always felt “off” when erect (i.e bit tight and uncomfortable at times) I had the best part of 14 years with it performing normal but then around end of 2016 something started to go wrong, the foreskin became very tight where I couldn’t retract it either soft/hard. As time wore on the more damage I could see happening (painful tears in the foreskin etc) it was confirmed in Nov 2018 my only choice was to get a circumcision which I got 5 days ago now. Try everything before getting the final cut though

Thank you very much for the advice

What cream did the doctor prescribe and what instructions were you given?

It was a hydrocortisone cream apply 3 times a day

Hydrocortisone is not the proper formulation for your condition and could make it worse. You need Betamethasone or equivalent.

Hi Man, I think it could be time for you to have it checked with a urologist they would know best. when the creams haven't worked you could have other conditions like LS maybe do you have any scaring or a pale colour to your foreskin or glans that you can see?

Yes there is how would I go about seeing one of those I’ve made an appointment for 10 days time with a nurse hopefully that goes better than when I see the doctor

Your doctor would usually have to refer you to the urologist if they don't suggest it I would ask them to refer you to a specialist after 2 years with creams and no improvement it's time to have it sorted. if it was lichen sclerosis it's not something you would leave untreated.

Which part of the foreskin is lichen sclerosis located? I would assume the tip of the foreskin would cause it. I would assume the moist environment of the inner foreskin would be the root cause to developing this condition?

It's more common in the genital area of both men and women but you can have it anywhere on the body. it's usually the foreskin and glans in males. steroid creams usually help but it only stabilizes the condition from getting worse it can cause blockage to your urethra. ultimately a circumcision is recommended.

Interesting, what does it feel like to have it?

Well hopefully I don't have it now😁 but when I did have it you don't really feel anything from it other than your foreskin would get tight and scarred and discoloration that can be very sore when you have a tight foreskin my glans were also affected. my frenulum also became very tight and eventually broke. The worst bit was mentally it is very stressful. I will always have to keep an eye out for it but having the circumcision was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Hi how would I know if I have L S I think it might be possible from what you have described, my foreskin became tight a few months back I went to gp got cream that has worked a bit I can pull it back when not erect but when I have erection I cannot pull it back. Also I've noticed no that when I do pull back I have a white blister like patch under the foreskin could this be LS??

Hi, you would have a white discoloration to your inner foreskin in patches if you had LS and possibly on your glans if it has spread. if you could post a photo it would help or pm me. What type of cream did your GP prescribed did he say anything about LS? probably the best thing for you to do is to go back to them and see what they think.

The specific steroid creams which are prescribed for phimosis do not work without a daily regimen of stretching. Stretching is done first. Then the cream is applied only to the tight ring of the opening which can be felt just inside the opening. Stretching should be done four times per day for five minutes each time. Apply the cream after the first and last sessions daily. Use a very small amount and rub it in thoroughly avoiding getting it on other parts.

Many guys find permanent relief in about two months.

As an alternative to manipulation, you may prefer using flesh tunnels which you can order in a set from phimocure.net. The rings are inserted for one hour sessions with 15-30 min breaks. They afford results passively.

Did this condition appear suddenly two years ago, meaning the skin was retractile before?

Everything was fine before then had a car accident which damaged both of my legs so started to stack on a lot weight, being disabled isn’t helping the situation as can’t really see what’s going on down there as have a big belly in the way lol

First time I went to doctors they thought I had thrush hence the hydrocortisone cream

I had the same and got a circumcision three weeks ago, i miss my foreskin but it is what it is, if you want a long term full solution, go for it. Better for masturbation, cleaner, and sex.
