Varicocele left side (Surgery or other treatment)

Hello! I’m 24 years old and because of some pain recently in my testicle I went to the doctor, had an ultrasound and a spermogram and was diagnosed with a varicocele. unfortunately the result of my spermogram is very altered and the doctor told me to have the surgery within a maximum period of 2 years, monitoring it so it doesn't get worse. I'm still single and starting my life, but I really want to have kids in the future. Has anyone had varicocele surgery?

I had varicocele surgery when I was a 27 virgin and although for a time I would have intense pain and swelling when I became highly sexually aroused for a prolonged period it has not been any further problem. It was likely the problem was that I needed to cum at these times.
