Worried after Circumsicion - Day 3

I was Circumcised 3 days ago and my penis looks like a mess. All was good for nearly 24 hrs after surgery then I got a lot of bleeding and had to go back to hospital. It has swollen up a lot and bruised but the Doctor said it's nothing to worry about - I am, however, rather worried.

I had it checked out on Saturday at the local hospital - it actually looks better and less swollen since then! The Doc said all was good unless things got worse.

Hi Man, I'd keep a close eye on it. it's very bruised and swollen. I know my bruising didn't come up until the 3rd Day and started to go after a week. If you're not happy have it checked again.

Don’t worry about the discolouration, I had that, it doesn’t look great but goes quite quick

Appreciate the responses. It's a testing and frustrating time as you will all know. Will see how I get on but I suppose it's a natural response to having parts of our bodies chopped off! I couldn't go on with the tight and scarred foreskin though.

Honestly mate it will be fine but just keep a eye on it keep it well clean use salt warm water try not to let too much pee on it when you go to the toilet it actually does look much worse than it is.

Update - been to docs today and given a clean bill of health. No infection or reason for concern, cut and stitches are neat and intact. Doctor diagnosed a haematoma which she said is normal and will reduce with time.

The one issue I do have now is that the lymphatic fluid that is still dropping out a bit has accumulated on my glans I've night and created quite a painful spot that is too tender to peel off. Like a little yellow scab. I hope this is all worth it in the end!!
