i know it is not an STD as i had my annual screening and testing for all STDs. Red skin. Doesn't sting . Doesnt itch. no discharge or anything. Just looks unpleasant. Started off as really dry skin,then looked like friction burn but again, doesn't sting or anything and definitely not an STD

I think you are right. Friction burn. You need to moisturise / lube more often.

Might be a fungal infection such as “Ring Worm” or possibly a Viral infection…. check it out with your doctor👍
