So at first I thought this might’ve been just an ingrown hair or a pimple, but I feel like it might be a wart instead.
I’m mid-20s and have only had one sexual partner the last few years, who claims to have had this once before too. So it might’ve been dormant for a while before suddenly appearing on me for the first time a few weeks ago.
Any thoughts? Is it HPV/genital warts? Do I just let it heal and let my body slowly fight it off? I’ve applied some Apple cider vinegar and feel a little sting but haven’t seen any improvements (yet). It definitely resembles kind of a pimple though and it doesn’t itch or hurt at all.

I’ve had one of these for idk how long now (still have it). It doesn’t hurt or anything and I have no idea what it is so I’m also curious. If you find out let me know!
Skin tag? I've the same area but have had as long as I can remember.
This certainly not look like a skin tag. Consult a doctor or a sexual health clinic for a diagnosis. This forum cannot diagnose problems and should not be used to avoid using a doctor.
Hello, it looks like Staphylococcus epidermidis. It’s caused by bacteria on the skin generally in places that sweats a lot but can sometimes be on the buttocks or thighs. 3% hydrogen peroxide will definitely kill it, just apply it with a cotton bud. If you live somewhere hot, or generally get really hot please makesure that you clean and dry that area very well.
You can spread it to your partner too so please avoid contact until it has completely healed. For future reference, makesure that the skin is washed thoroughly and avoid wearing clothes twice that you have worn sitting on public transport and other public spaces. Avoid sitting on your bed with the clothes that you worn out and sat in public spaces. Please contact your doctor to get a second opinion or in this case, confirmation.
