Day 8 after circumcision and a couple of stitches have fallen off so that’s a start! Some places around the stitches are still bloody but something concerning has started! pls tell me if that has happened to anyone else? The skin on the head of the penis is new and when I touch it it actually peels off. Is that bad? Also if that’s normal should I peel it off or should I just let it be ?

It's a process called keratinization whereby simply put the glans becomes more resistant and less sensitive. It occurs due to exposure to the environment and clothes etc. It's completely normal and you may continue to shed over the following days and may still do up till a few weeks. You can moisturise the glans with non irritant non fragrant moisturiser. Also don't pull at it. Don't worry at all . All the best !
Thank you so much for the response! Would coconut oil help or should I not apply coconut oil? And if yes should I just do that until it stops forming this skin or just a couple of days? Thanks!
You can apply coconut oil although I would suggest you to use vaseline petroleum jelly . It lasts longer and the skin stays hydrated for long. Coconut oil is best for the shaft and may be adulterated so beware. I used the petroleum jelly and it helped with the sensitivity as well. And you can stop over a few days as your glans gets accustomed. Cheers !

hi matajohn3 you should wash him twice a day in salt water you can do this in the sink or bowl dry him off then apply vasalene which is very good i did this for 4 weeks then went on to fragrance free moisturiser I am 7 months post op and still use it 4 times a day when you are ready to masterbate you will need coconut oil about the 6th week depending on how you heal and even then nice and gentle with him you only have 1 willy so you must take great care be safe and good luck
