Got my Circ done yesterday 25/6 on the NHS under local anesthetic. I'm a 39 year old male that suffered with Phimosis for 4 years.
It just got to the point where I realised after trying EVERYTHING that it was not going to resolve it's self. Probably spent 2 years waiting for the op to happen. Don't get me wrong while I waited to be called yesterday I wanted to get up and walk out. It is nerve wracking to know if you are making the correct decision. There are alot of polarised views online but ultimately you need to make the decision on what is best for you and put your trust in the medical team.
Currently my penis looks like a rooster potatoe, it's very swelled but the pain is minimal. My bandage came off straight after surgery so just rewrapped it my self. Slept ok lastnight on my back with slight discomfort. Did have an erection about 4am which was scary. My pee stream is like a light saber. There has been some minor bleeding but nothing concerning. Just ran a luke warm bath and gave it a little clean.
Its early days but I am pleased with the results so far. This forum is really good and it feels like everybody's journey is different. There is also a podcast on Spotify called Circ blog which was helpful.
Thank you to everybody that contributes here. Your input has been invaluable.
