Yellow discharge on stitches

It's been my day 6 and some discharge started appearing more in the stitches,

The first discharge I had was on day 4 is it normal?

Some of my friends says it's a sign of infection and some says it's part of the healing process.

I am very worried about an infection is it normal?

I had sown clear discharge as well! Plus the swelling as increased over the past few days (I’m on day 7 after surgery). It looks like I Have a donut around the glans. It’s not painful, but I can definitely feel it’s there. I hope the swelling is going to go down because I’m really worried

Ohhh same my swelling is becoming big but my brother said it's supposed to go away after a couple of weeks, and my discharge ain't clear at all only at first

Don't worry mate ... Its a part of healing process... Everybody who is circumcised have been through these... Just check if there is any foul smell... Otherwise everything is normal...you are heading towards the right way...

Yes my discharge doesn't have an odor at all! Thanks for the info

If it's anything other than clear or yellowish then I'd go to a doc asap. Clear/yellow fluid from a wound is normal as that is just lymph. But if your concerned I'd suggest talking to your doc.

Turns out it’s an infection, I managed to get antibiotics from an out of hours gp and contacted my urologist who performed the circumcision and visited me today, he squeezed the hell out of it and now it’s half the size and not painful! So lucky he was ready to see me the following day! Now I can focus back to the healing (god it takes ages!)

Mine got removed with the stitches and the swelling is now very little and it's almost fully healed 4 more stitches to go!
