Do I need to put any moisturizer/cream on my circumcision scars or no?

I had a circumcision 5 months ago, my scar line is not completely gone. It has smoothed out a little bit but there has been no improvement in the past couple of months. I haven't put any kind of cream/oil/moisturizer on my scar line. A couple of weeks ago I tried coconut oil - didn't work, for some reason got my penis irritated. Will try bio oil now. If that doesn't work, I'm thinking of a silicone scar sheet or Stratamed cream.

My question is, is it at all needed to put anything on the scar line for it to disappear? Will my scar line smooth out even if I don't put anything on it?

It is part of the body that regains it's natural appearance. So it will be ok if you don't apply anything that will make it irritating if it has healed. I can remember mine years back, after it healed nothing was applied. Better still consult your doctor.

It worked okay for me! But I started using it on doctor’s advise so would ask them first
