I’m 5 weeks post op and haven’t yet done any exercise, wanting to have a kick about tomorrow with some friends but not sure whether it’s a bad idea, I believe I’m healing fine incision looks closed hasn’t bled or any discharge since week 2. Still tender to touch. Wouldn’t be vigorous exercise just jogging and kicking a ball around, any advice?
Thanks

One note, the majority of the incision has fused together and is clearly closed as the scar has formed whereas a small part on the left side hasn’t yet formed a scar and still appears to be healing (but no discharge for weeks)
Think what will happen, if the ball hits direct to your penis. I might wait or use surgical skin tape to cover the whole incision line. It may spread the hit energy and save your wound. Think twice, still.
Only you know how you feel generally and if you genuinely think you are upto it.
Be aware that if you get the ball full on your penis, or a bad tackle, it is going to HURT! You need to consider padding or even a cricketer's 'box'. Wear close fitting underwear to keep the penis from swinging about and rubbing as you run and jump.
It's usually recommended that you don't play fast moving or contact sports for at least 8 weeks aftert the procedure.
