I got circumcised 6 weeks ago, great healing, but there is too much of a color difference between the skin left on shaft, and the new exposed skin under the glans. Since im hispanic my penis is on the darker side , and the skin under glans is red and pink. Does this color difference fade, or should i do something. Someone please respond.

Circumsicion Color difference
Why you got circumcision?
Unfortunately only scar line will fade and smoothen, but your shaft skin tone is different than your former inner foreskin. There can/will be some pigmentation onto your inner skin/mucosa, but mainly it remains like that.
Changes in color are completely normal and natural. While I understand you may feel it doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing, the truth is that everyone’s penis looks that way. It’s nothing to feel self conscious about. It’s completely normal.
that’s what my penis looks like. i got circumcised a year ago and i feel it changed color. my penis is brown and dark and the glans is pink and so is the skin around it. i guess that’s how it’s supposed to be.
I am curious as to the newly exposed pinky skin is not the same layer that we could see when we retract it (before circumcisions)
That is something your doctor should have told you before you were circumcised, the color difference between the skin of the inner foreskin, and the skin of the shaft. Yes, the exposed pinky skin is the same color as the skin of the fully retracted foreskin. Most men with fully retractable foreskins know about the color difference, I guess with phimosis, you may not have known.
This is pretty normal, the skin under the forskin is always a different shade to the outer shaft skin so when the forskin is removed you can see the change in colour either side of the scar line! Darker guys naturally have darker shaft skin and when the foreskin is removed there might be more of a contrast but I wouldn't worry about it, it's totally normal, mine is the same as im slightly darker skinned!
Same color as when you would retract your foreskin. I don’t understand the problem.
That’s your new look.
As others have explained this is completely normal. If you have darker pigments and lighter inner skin there is a nice contrast between the inner and outer skin. The inner skin over time gets a little darker, however the contrast remains. You can search the web (porn sites, Reddit etc) and you will notice this is true for anyone with darker pigments. The good news is that a lot of people find this two skin tones highlighting a circumcised penis very sexual and visually pleasing - it’s called a two toner.
My recommendation is to not feel anxious about this and to embrace it. Let the penis continue to heal and the let the inner skin adjust to the new exposure.
Thanks bro. I have a question, how much does it take for the newly exposed skin to be normal. I got circumsiced 6 weeks ago and its still a bit swollen, and doesnt look like normal skin yet
The skin changes gradually and is dependent on the moisture levels of your skin (oil levels!driven by your diet and normal constitution) and environment factors such as weather, clothing, diet, etc. in summary it varies from person to person. However the process is slow and won’t happen overnight. Usually it’s a few months to a year. In some cases though the skin gets drier the color may not change differently cause you “handle” it constantly or not as much.
Give it time.
Mine is the same I have a two tone penis but I’m very happy with the way it looks & so is my wife , she finds it much sexier… like it’s always ready to “go” even though I may not be !🙂
