Heavy bleeding during sleep post circumcision.

Zsr stapler circumcision on 19 sept, sutures done on 29 sept and today (05 Oct) morning while I was sleeping, I felt that my penis area and boxer is wet. At first I thought I had peed during sleep or I had a nightfall. I didn’t had even 1% thought that it was bleeding. I switched on the light and to my shock, all the dressing and penis and my boxer and bedsheet were in blood. I immediately rushed to the bathroom. Undressed the bandage, washed my penis thoroughly. I noticed that the bleeding had occurred from the frenulum sutures only. I am more frightened for this blood bath than the pain. The pain was not that much but the blood loss was significant. Why only I have to bear all this.

I really suggest you to support the incision site around the frenulum sutures/staples with strips of surgical tape, then the nocturnal erections won't stretch incision.

My sympathy. But do remember a little blood goes a long way, often looks more dramatic than it actually is. Definitely go and get it checked out by a doctor or nurse though

Did the bleeding get resolved ? Did you have to do anything special ?

The bleeding did not happen after that day. I also consulted my doctor about this.

Oh yaa. Stiches were removed on 9 sept. Feeling much better now

Probably you might put pressure by turning and tossing. Better connect doc asap.

Brother, why there were stitches in zsr circumcision. Shouldn't there be silicon ring instead of stiches?
