Just wrap it with gauze and at nights don’t wear anything to get air flow. I’m on second week and still stitches maybe one fell off. How’s your frenulum area, mine is still very sensitive and I have a scab there, it’s annoying

Yeah fair enough man. Are you able to comfortably wear pants? I’m not at that stage yet. It’s very uncomfortable and hurts when it scrapes the undies

I'm on 21 and what I did was put neosporin ok it and it went away quick. I did it in my second week and the stitches are gone and the scabs as well.

I’m the same brother haha I’m on day 8 and all of my stitches are poking out. A wrap around it helps with Vaseline

I wear pants with it wrapped haha, but at night I don’t wear anything so it can get some air flow. I wanted to put Vaseline but my doc said he doesn’t recommend it, so I’ve been avoiding it. I just bought some non stick pads from rite aid and I wrap it and no issues

Oh legit? I was just putting on Vaseline and I’ve never had a problem with it. Oh as long as it doesn’t stick that’s good man!

Did you have phymosis?

Here in Nordic it is suggested to use a gauze whole time until the wound is healed and there is no discharge anymore.

Petroleum jelly/medical honey ointment is used for a part of moist wound care. It forms a protective barrier between the wound and "open air". It prevents a gauze stick in to wound discharge too. One thing needs to know. Do not apply any ointment before you have dried the wound first properly.

Underpants a size smaller than before your circumcision, wil be a great help; it worked for me very well.

I got my stitches removed at day 12 for the same reason. Once they removed them the healing process has accelerated. I am still swollen but I can begin to see it go down. I am now going on week three this coming Monday Aug 16th. My Dr. will see if they need to drain the swelling apparently it’s a sack of blood clot on the left side of the frenulum.

Hi guys in the comments and the owner of the post please don’t itch it etc dong mess around with it allow it to heal well. Don’t pull the stitches out when they poke through allow them to naturally fall out in the shower for example don’t rush the stitches out. Most stitches are usually dissolvable so will break down and fall out. Other type of stitches that are not dissolvable your surgeon should of given you information about them. Myself I had glue and dissolvable stitches. Remember to keep the penis clean and dry. Use gauzes Vaseline bandages etc for the first week of 2 then try to wear underwear with no bandages once the wounds close up remember to moistrise the glans with bio oil or other moisturisers readily available. Salt water warm salt water in a jug will also help. I wish you guys all the best on your recovery
