Bleeding on 7th day post circumcision

An overnight erection caused bleeding on the backside. Looks like some blood vessel. Have you guys experienced this thing. When it started bleeding I could not feel it at all. Almost after 1.5hrs of lying down and putting pressure, the bleeding stopped. What are your thoughts. Anyone experienced similar thing?

Bleeding from an erection is very common as seen in many posts. As it has stopped then you should not have a problem. Any worries, see a doctor.

Thanks for your reply. To elaborate more on this, I had undergone ZSR circumcision. The Ring looks like has gone below the foreskin on the underside. I'm more worried about the possibility of blood clot and later blocking the staples from falling out.

OK... I was just at the doctor. He had a look and told it should be fine. There was a blood vessel underneath which got cut due to erection. Suggested me to keep the penis upright most of the times.

First don't panic! Your first point of contact should always be your surgeon. Don't be too shy to call them, they should be made aware of any issues so they can consider them during the next surgeries. Maybe they did not cauterize or you just had a mishap during sleep.
