Hi all,

Can anyone recommend something to soften the head of penis? It’s 7 weeks now and still it’s rough and bumpy with dry skin peeling sometimes. I tried putting Vaseline and hydromol after shower and in morning. It’s useless.

Hey mate I am at 5 week. My doctor told me to not to put on anything and directly wear underware. Due to this the peeling off and bumpiness was over by 2 week. I suggest you same too. Peeling off, rough and bumpy are the part of the normal process don't worry.

Apply any moisturiser on the head and the incision line twice a day for 10 days. It worked wonders for me.

Hope will take take time for me 8 weeks finished still swelling,pain, gland skins peeling..but all gradually reduced

For me I feel like not applying anything might be better for sensitivity and also just let the glans peel it just needs to get used to exposing

the glans will keratise and become permanently dry. the body treats circumcision like a wound so your glans will never be smooth and soft as it was with a protective foreskin.
