too much inner foreskin removed after circumsion

so I was recently circumcised about 3 weeks ago, and I starting notices how tight my erections were and that my penis length looked a little less. Which I then found out is normal and eventually stretches out. Now the real problem for me is when I realised how much inner foreskin I actually lost, I’m a big grower and fully erected am 8-9 inches (currently it’s almost looking like 6 or 7 inches after circumsion.) I used to have about 5-6 cm’s of inner foreskin, now I only have 2cm’s, I’m extremely unhappy about this as it’s not what I wanted at all, I’m hoping by some miracle to stretch the skin between the end of the glans and the top of my scar tissue that over time more inner foreskin will grow. But I have absolutely nothing to back this up and it may not work at all. Has anyone had similar issues or just knows things that could help

I had mine done just over 11 weeks ago and I’m still over an inch down on what I used to be. I had mine done in Belfast U.K. and never had a choice of cut or told it would affect my size but on information I have got from here and the internet it takes a lot of time to get back to normal as new blood vessels have to form and the skin needs time to stretch and grow so I’m forever hopeful all will come right.

But is the skin stretched when you get an erection? Because if not then the size should be exactly the same. I also got almost all inner skin removed.

I mean it stretches but only to a certain point and sadly I don’t think ever reach where it once naturally was. Even with the actual penis length eventually getting longer again I’m guessing it’s mostly the regular skin on the shaft that will grow and not the inner foreskin

My cut is low (and loose) and have only 1cm of inner skin left. It took me months to adjust and heal completely but I am very happy now. Maybe talk to your doctor about your concerns.

Put Betamethasone cream on the inner foreskin and it will stretch more easily than the outer skin

Yup. Been there done that. Also works on 'turkeys neck' if it's dragged your ballsack up the shaft of your cock. It's prescription only but, um, it *might* be available online

Twice a day and it starts working immediately. I'd recommend doing it ASAP before the natural stretching starts

I wanted to keep as much inner skin as possible and fir it to be tight when I had an erection but they cut me near the head and loose. I had it redone to tighten it up by taking more outer shaft skin then used the Betamethasone cream just on the remaining inner skin. I'd say it doubled from the original cut from maybe 2cm/1 inch to 4cm/2 inches.

Okay great because 4cms is what I’m aiming for. How long did you have to stretch it before you got results? And also do I need to use any specific stretching methods?

I had it done at a private Clinic , we did discuss it just before the procedure and I thought it was clear what I wanted, however it was all very fast and if I’m being honest, I did completely understand how it all works the way I do now had I known what was what I’d of be extremely clear. Never the less it’s still not what I believed we had agreed on. I am feeling completely depressed since realising though and I’m scared sexual activity will never feel the same

3 weeks after circumcision is far too soon to be worrying about the amount of skin removed or loss of length. You will currently have a great deal of swelling which disguises your real situation and makes it seem as if the skin has been cut too tightly. Healing is a marathon, not a sprint. You need to allow 6-8 weeks at least before the true state will be apparent.

Nope I’m virtually completely healed, I healed up incredibly fast, I only have a tiny bit of scabbing in one area, other than that all stitches are out, swelling finished on like week 2 and scarring is almost non existent

3 weeks is nowhere near long enough after circumcision to have a proper idea of the final result. Much of the tightness and apparent loss of length is simply due to swelling.

Only start to be concerned if the excess tightness persists after 6 months.

don’t get me wrong the tightness/loss of length isn’t my concern I’m aware that will sort it’s self out. For me the concern was too much of my inner foreskin was removed from about 5cm to 2 however I am doing what 8thfloorben recommended and already seeing a slight improvement

Ask your doctor. Steroids like betamethasone do soften the skin but they also make it more thin and fragile in the long run. You can get inflammation as side effect or withdrawal symptom. Ask your doctor if that's OK.
