Should I get circumsized?

I just turned 18. After hearing that ladies prefer circumsized over uncircumsized multiple times, and that they might even consider uncircumsized penises gross, I am starting to concider circumsizion. Have any of you ever had issues with this? Any opinions? I am worried that being uncircumsized could affect my sex life in the future.

Entirely your choice however I’d certainly advise finding out for yourself what ladies actually do or don’t like rather than rely on hearsay. Whenever you see the question of what ladies prefer crop up on a forum or Reddit etc. there is usually a large group that say it doesn’t matter or that they don’t mind either way. Check it out yourself.

I think it's all down to what is considered the norm in your country. In the USA it's the norm to be circumsized, while in the UK it's the norm to be uncircumcised. Maybe it's not about preference. If somebody wants to be with you then they won't mind either way.

Actually my experience is ladies do not like circumcised, as the surface of the glans become dry and rough. There should be foreskin and it should be openable to expose the full glance during entry to vagina mouth. Also the bundled skin when soaked in vaginal fluid glides through the vaginal mouth and bring excitement to the clitoris, which brings in ecstasy and orgasm faster. If the glans is not openable then you need to be circumcised otherwise not.

How would the sensation of a long foreskin compare to the sensation of a short foreskin? Would the long foreskin also contact the clitoris in the same way?

The skin may not touch clitoris but the gliding effect gives a sensation. Do it and observe

If it isn't broke dont mend it. The look for your penis is the last thing your partner will be concerned about.

There will be a difference if they remove to much outer skin, like in my case. I have no shaft skin on the underside of my penis, but on top of that they left the ridge band, so it’s hard to say how it would change the persons sex life. Also another interesting question is, at what point would someone be considered circumcised? How much has to be removed?

At1012 profile image

Remember the ridge band is what allows easy insertion. If she is really wet, then it won’t make a difference. They key is, don’t do something that you might regret later, but remember some will say that as long as it’s clean, they won’t care. One thing to consider is that it’s harder to keep an uncut penis clean and even when you do, as long as urethra is sealed up, it will always be unclean no mater what. There’s always a drop of urine that will get stuck in the foreskin after urination. It’s the same reason a pig will always be unclean because even if you give it an organic diet, the way it digests it’s food, it will be unclean to eat.

The whole clean thing is a myth. And the drop of urine would be stuck to the glans in a circumcised penis, wouldn't it? I don't get your pig simile though.

Which country are you in?

Why?

I think they asked because America is one of the only countries where circumcision is prevalent.

That question makes no sense! Unless.

Hello Luke, I would not get circumcised because it's a lady's choice. It should be YOUR choice. Once cut off, you can NOT glue it back on.

You will learn as time goes by that women want men to do a lot of things.

That comment is just a topic. In western countries It shouldn't be an issue.

Women are far more concerned about the man attached to the penis that the penis itself.

do not care about girls opinion about your body . because if you loss the pleasure sensation they will do not loss anything.

("uncut penis is gross")

this is a brain washing trap i had fall in it before.

circumcision is only used to solve health issue

any other reason is pullshit;)

How can I explain . You see when the vagina is wet, lubricated and you are secreting precum, the mixture of these two fluids when reduces the friction at the mouth that is gliding. Do and feel , it is felt at the height of ecstasy feeling

I would not get circumcised. I was denied my foreskin at birth.

That’s really up to you man. Are you having any issues with it? If not and you don’t WANT to get circumcised, then don’t. Im getting circumcised bc I’ve always wanted it, i wouldn’t do it for someone else. You’ve only got one Dick and if it feels good for you and works well, then no need to fix what’s not broken

That is up to you bro. I was actually circumcised 3 weeks ago. Let me tell you about my experience. I been thinking of getting the cut for years. I though it was going to hurt but I actually didn’t have much pain and I didn’t even take my pain meds I guess everyone is different. The reasons why I got it was bc for many reasons one it made me uncomfortable about myself bc to me it looked unpleasant. Also it use to smell really bad and itch a lot down there I guess bc of the extra skin folding on top each other. When I had sex I didn’t enjoy it bc the skin was moving up and down to much causing soreness and I really couldn’t feel the inside of girls vaginas unless I held the skin back witch was aggravating. I also could not come ever even after hours. I had to hold the skin down really tight in order to feel myself in her and that was the only time I could cum. I didn’t lose any sensitivity at all, and when I masturbated for the first time I came twice as much and the sensation of cumming was so amazing. If this helps you or you have any more questions let me know, but like everyone else it is up to you.

Here's my take: you shouldn't get a circumcision. It sounds like you are in America (one of the only countries where circumcision is prevalent). These days, women and men know about foreskin. The reason why women are surprised to see foreskin is because they don't have a penis and so they wouldn't really know about circumcision.

And as User1957 said, you're more likely to hear someone complain than compliment.

You don't have to be like everyone else. There are so many sexual benefits to foreskin and you're not 'uncircumcised', you're intact. But do your own research about sexual pleasure. There are different procedures.

You're not broken. You're fine as you are. You don't need to do this for anyone else. It's your decision.

As a man who had no say in being done, i would suggest against it. I've spent my entire life with sexual dysfunction because of it. They say it does not reduce pleasure but it does. By the time i hit 35 i could not climax anymore. By 37 complete erectile dysfunction. Even viagra don't work because i can't feel anything but numbness. If i use a makeshift foreskin everything returns to normal after some time. I remove the device and back to ed in 3 to 4 days.

Don't do it. And as for women saying it's gross, literally not a woman in Europe thinks a foreskin is gross. Unless you're dirty. That's only an American idea and it's crazy and it's changing.

As for the impacts of circumcision. Everyones different. Every surgery is different. There hasn't been done much research in how circumcision affects sex but in general it does more harm than good.

Honestly it’s up to you. I’m 18 as well and elected to have a circumcision done 4 months ago. I had a lot of infections growing up and recently had one which lead me to getting it done. I also felt insecure with my sex life before. After getting it done, sex has not really changed. Everything literally feels the same and it takes some time to get used to. Obviously the only downside is the healing process as things might not look normal for the first 2 months but after that things get soooo much better. I have no regrets whatsoever and I thought I was going to.

If you don't have any medical problems which are the indications of circumcision, then it's a totally personal choice to under go circumcision. The only downside of circumcision is that your member will become way less sensitive then in uncut state.

If a female loves you truly, then you are cut or uncut, it doesn't matter.Females don't bother about penises too much as males do about vaginas. For females, what matters is that you shouldn't have any erectile disorder ie you shouldn't have any impotence.

But remember one thing.. Sex is not only the thing in your life. If you are comfortable with what you have now do nothing. If you dont have phimosis be uncircumcised.
