I am almost 6 months post circumcision and my scarline is still bumpy and but hard. I’m thinking of having steroid injections to loosen it. Has anyone else done this before?
Also does the scarline become more elastic over time? I feel like my penis isn’t as long as before by 1 inch.
Thank you

Is your thick scar causing you any problems? Have you discussed the issue of steroid injections with your doctor?
The appearance of losing length is common. Of course, nobody actually loses penis length during circumcision. Swelling or tight skin can make it look as if length is lost and that can take up to a year to resolve. Being overweight can also make the length issue seem worse.
You're not alone brother. I'm also just about 6 months post op and have the exact same concerns as you.
My circumcision line is causing me slight discomfort especially around the frenulum area as I went for high and tight.
I also feel like I've lost about an inch of length but I think it's more in the mind than anything else. We're just not used to seeing it with 2 different skin tones.
I've been trying to apply bio oil as often as possible and massaging down the bumps and weird parts. Fingers crossed after a year it'll get better.
I just want my penis to look like those smooth ones in pornos lol
Several individuals on this site experienced improvements with stretching exercises -- please refer to their links and techniques. In regards to porno, I would recommend that you shy away from those comparisons. Keep in mind that most porn stars have access to Erectile Dysfunction injections and their erections are artificial. Also, the images are air-brushed and camera angles are utilized to make the glans appear larger than normal. In their flaccid state, the majority of penises will exhibit blemishes and traumas. Enjoy the functioning penis you possess.
In an earlier post, Pinoy6 shared stretching exercises that might be of benefit. Even though you're not restoring your foreskin, please consult with Foreskinrestoration.men for additional stretching techniques to help smooth-out the scar. Finally, when I had a 4-inch scar after ankle surgery, I applied Vitamin E daily and the scar now is fully integrated with the remainder of the skin. Please note, however, that your scar needs to be perfectly healed before commencing stretching exercises.
It does get better up until maybe 2 years after the surgery I believe. But I'm still convinced the skill of the surgeon/the technique used (glue vs sutures and so on) plays a huge role in the final result.
