I was circumcised 6 months ago at the age of 36. The healing has gone really well. The only thing is the scarline is still very hard and raised. Will it smooth out over time? I can handle the two tone and scar, but the raised scarline is a little off putting.
Any thoughts from other guys circumcised as an adult appreciated.
thanks

Bio oil for 3 months 2 times a day on the scar line rubbed on and all will be perfect
Thanks all. I've been applying BioOil from month 1 to month 6 so far. It has helped, but I am afraid the scar line will stay raised and not blend in to the original skin. Does anyone have any experience in this so far?
I'm going to use 'silicone scar sheet' for hypertrophic scar. It's reusable and easy to take off and put on again and again. I have used similar on my cheek earlier.
You might need corticosteriod cream. I was in the same exact situation - scarline was hard and pretty raised, which was bothering me a lot. My doc prescribed me this cream to apply twice a day for 8 weeks. It really helped a lot. Schedule a consultation and ask them about it.
Hey, man, could you please check the only one post in my profile? There are pics of my condintion. I am 5 monhts post OP, but still have swelling and tight scar, which is very very sensitive.
I have read about the corticosteroid creams and I started using Dermovate cream 2 weeks ago. Which one did you use?
If you want, you can leave comment on my post or DM me. Thank you in advance and excuse me for bothering you!
Massage it. Supposedly you can also ask your doctor to shave it? One guy on the forum said his doctor did that. My scar is also raised, been six months or more. Hoping it will soften with massages.
