Swelling after 6th week of circumcision

Hi guys,

Please light me up.

Now I’m on 6th week of circumcision. Still having swelling around on bottom of the my part. It’s really look weird.

Here I attached few pics of the same.

This is normal after circumcision? How can I get out that quickly?

I would totally concur with Osidge that you should not be like that at 6 weeks post circumcision - by which time you should be almost completely healed.

You MUST see a doctor as soon as possible to get a proper diagnosis and possible treatment to avoid things getting any worse.

What method of circumcision was used?

Stitches method. Sure I will check my doctor regarding that.

Today I had consultation with my doctor where he said that everything’s have healed up neatly and that swelling will take 7 to 10 days to settle down so he asking to wait. I’m done have any pain yet, still swelling size is my only concern. Please share your any idea or advise from your experience to reduce that size.

I use cohesive bandage wrap to keep the swelling down. Seems to work well. Initially Dr wrap tight day one. After day one I have been doing a mild wrap as instructed. This is part of my post procedure care instructions they provided. It should go down with time but if In doubt, check with the doctor.

We all heal differently and at different lengths of time. I see your frenulum is left intact and appears to be short. Was that the reason for your adult circumcision or was it phimosis?. I had exactly the same look and condition. From what ive experienced, if ur fren is short n left intact, u will not get painfup night erections or erections will be weak until the frenulum is fully healed. Im at 8 months post cut n can't get erect enough to be able to have sex. Swelling has subsided but the frenulum takes linger to heal n for swelling there to go away.

I think you look ok n should not worry too much. I did look like u 8 months ago.

I need your help to. Share your experience. Are u able to get hard erections?

Yes ... am getting erection regularly .. also having sex weekly once ... it’s not affecting any on sex as well as erection ... but swelling is still after two month of circumcision.. also am confirmed that there is no infection.

Hey there man, is the swelling completely gone now? If so, did it go away itself, when? Also, is the swelling below or above the stitches? I have almost the same size swelling in the bottom right side below my stitches and it is my day 10 of circumcision.

Yes, man...Be cool. It's all gone away by itself. Just give healing time and don't skip the bath. That's more enough. Sorry for the delay.

Hi I did circumcision last June but still swelling is not going.. pls tell me how many days taks for you the swelling normal

How long did it take to heal? when did you start your sex life agian? Which circumcisions method you have been applied

Hi Crazyoutfit, sorry for the delay. Its have taken hardly 6 months. After 2 months, I have started doing sex with my partner. I have gone through Stitches type.
