When can I start letting it hang?

I just had my circumcision done 2 days ago....when can I start letting it hang on it's own? This making it face upward thing with gauze and tape is a tedious

Keeping it upright is to assist in draining lymph fluid from it and improving swelling. There is no obligation to do it but many find the benefits worth the small inconvenience.

Alright, thanx for the advice bro...lol but it's a very tedious exercise...I keep wanting to check on it every now n then...it likes falling on the side

If it's got gauze and tape try tight underwear to help hold it in place? It's a pain but it's for a good reason as Osidge says

Roughly for how long? As I'm sure every case differs from person to person

I'm sure it does. Me? I wrapped it in gauze *fairly* tightly to compress it and keep swelling down so I let mine hang anyway. I'm not a doc, obviously, but the key is to allow blood flow but not fluid buildup.
