When can I get back to playing sport after circumcision?

Its been 15 days since my circumcision swelling and scarring has died down, but the dissolvable stitches remain. When can I get back to playing sport like playing basketball ?

Recommend activities like swimming and sports are after 6 weeks bro because still you have stitches and internal healing take time ..

Alright gotta exercise my patience then lol its only been 15 days and im dying to play again but I’ll wait it out to be safe

I’d suggest wait for atleast 4 weeks, and then gradually start with sports activities

Varies by person, but I left it just under 3 weeks before starting exercise again - gently at first with vasoline to protect healing & desensitise glands.

Completed a 10k run just 4 weeks after op though, no discomfort or problems, during or after, other than through lost fitness.

So assuming all going well with your healing 3-4 weeks, but go by how YOU feel personally & how well your healing is going.

Oh alright I see thanks for the insight, the healing seems to be going well so i should be the same 3-4 weeks in i think I’ll be comfortable enough

I probably wouldn’t go swimming though until all surface healing is complete & stitches gone due to infection risk.

Tbh the short answer is after 6 weeks bruh & only if yo shit seems to be ready for it but minimum for sports… wait at least 6 weeks bro
