Post circumcision recovery.

Post circumcision...my wound is recovering well i guess (today is day 4 post op), but I see some yellow dischange near the frenulum site which is worrying me. Is it normal? I had both frenuloplasty as well as circumcision.

A yellow discharge is usual. A white smelly discharge is not.

No it's not white and it's not a lot, just a little bit near the wound. Could you pls tell me what it is exactly? Ty

It is lymph fluid - part of the healing process

Yes it is normal. I had it 8 days ago and I have some too. Do you know when the swelling will be gone?

it varies eprson to person, i still have some swelling, day 11

Mine is like a filled circle all around the insicion. On the bottom of the head, I don't think is going till some weeks.... Its really pink and has the stitches. One question, how do you manage to get the penis in upright position?

Tbh I never kept it in upright position, perhaps because I didn't have to go to work due to this lockdown thing. Ring has fallen off and wound is healthy. Swelling will go with time.

In two days it will be the fourth week that since my circumcision and im down to my last two sutures. Since the unraveling of my dressing, I was told that I can just leave it exposed as long as its upright like the Doctor advised. This was too painful in the beginning for me as it would tug on the sutures everytime i would move that area and it was still extremeley sensitive and just starting to heal. Although it wasnt extremely painful after i took the Tylenols it was still a huge discomfort. I took it upon myself to get some soft gauze pads of my own and wrap those up with some toilet paper for more reinforcing (After i applied my antibiotic to it of course). I have been doing this since then and I have been able to keep it facing upright as well as suppress whatever pain so it worked out great. I had a meet with my doctor in person the first week because I had some concerns about my frenulum etc, Overall, the doctor told me yes thats fine and I can continue to do so for as long as possible, and that it wont affect the natural disolving process of the sutures either. Im on week 4 and the pain is pretty much non existent except for those two sutures still remaining, one right on the incision line directly below the top of my shaft, and on the exact oppposite side rght below my frenulum is the las tone. I cant wait for these to finally fall out. But until then im gonna keep this protective wrapping with the antibiotic applied until they are all gone. Call me a softy but I hate pain. That's totally ok. Just try to dispense with the warraping and antibiotics for a more natural/faster recovery when you feel like it. I'm 3 days away from my 4th week and my pain is non existent. I just use tight boxers to keep it uprights and shower with swimwear for it not to get wet much. Lucks

Thanks for the reply! Im wearing boxer briefs that are pretty much as tight as i can get them to be without discomfort. Nice to know what others are wearing during and post circ
