1 week post circumcision

Hi,

I had a circumcision almost 1 week a go now. Healing seems to be going fine. Just one concern I have is some sort of bump/swelling?? (See picture).. does this look normal and has anyone had this after their operation?

I do not see anything that does not appear normal for someone only 1 week post surgery.

Thank you. I think it's just me being paranoid. I'm not sure how I expect things to look so early on lol

I had something very similar, actually larger.

10 weeks on and it's all absolutely fine now.

Just give it time.

Right! The incision does not heal all at the same time. It will even out — don’t worry! All of us who had adult circumcision went through the same concerns.

It’s normal.

Some people have a lot more swelling and some experience swelling in parts for several months. It’s all normal and you shouldn’t be worried. It’s looks pretty good for 1 week.
