Im post circumcision 5 weeks and a day. I still have some stitches. How much longer for them to dissolve or fall off?

I had stitches come out at week 6 and the last one was so painful. It would catch on my underwear wrong. However once it came out it was instantly better. I was about to phone the doc to see if I had to have them removed but then they came out. Hope yours come out soon and nice.

Mine came out after about 12 days but doctor told me to go in if they didn’t dissolve or fall off after 7 days, 5 weeks is pretty excessive I would call your doctor as they may get infected and attract more bacteria
