Question about recovery where frenulum was after circumcision.

Hey guys! Just wanted to ask something about my recovery.

I’m about 3 and a half months after my circ (my frenulum was removed and got a partial circ).

After I have an erection, when it goes down, where my frenulum was, kind of “swells up” it doesn’t necessarily feel hard, but it just gets a bit bigger and it takes a bit of time for it to go back down.

Because of that during that time some skin that’s supposed to cover a bit of the head doesn’t go up. It doesn’t really feel like it’s strangling or anything like that; it’s just that that area gets a bit “swollen” and have to wait it out so the skin can go back up normally. ( I have a low and tight circ).

Other than that I notice that when I have an erection in that same part and a bit to the right it’s a bit swelled up but it’s noticeable only when erect so maybe it’s just internal skin that’s still healing (it doesn’t really hurt)

I don’t know if this just means it’s still healing internally in that part or if there’s something I can do. I don’t know if this is something you guys experienced or heard about.

Thanks!

I really do think that you need to give it more time to reach full healing. It does not seem to be a huge problem.

Yeah, it doesn’t really seem to be alarming. I mean I’ve seen progress it’s just been slow. I was just curious if others have experienced the same.

Thanks a lot for your input :)

We had one member who was still having post-surgical problems at a year. We are all different

It sounds like you could be still healing. You said that you have a partial circumcision then you said you have a low and tight. You can’t have both. A partial, high or loose circumcision will be more prone to swelling until fully healed than a low and or tight circumcision.

I’m sorry! It’s a partial one (I just mentioned it being low and tight as a reference on how it looks when I pull the skin back, sorry for the confusion).

Thanks for the input, I had no idea. I guess I just have to be patient :)
