Swelling of the penis after circumcision

Good evening, I did my circumcision 3 weeks ago but I had some lump on my peins in the first week but now it's three weeks I have seen a lump like swelling , can I be worried

Can you describe it? Is it a soft swelling?

It's a hard swelling and it hurts when you touch it

If the swelling is something that has been there since the surgery , it may just be delayed healing which is also a cause of concern . If it's recent , it might be exacerbation of the wound by trauma or infection . In both cases , it would be best to go to see your doc as you might need additional management such as drugs etc . I had that painful lump too after circumcision. It slowly fates away after 3 weeks and by week 5 it's no longer visible. I still had mild pain in that area but it also slowly fate away too.

I feel like it's what I've got at the moment, I'm pretty sure mine is scar tissue. I'm assuming it does eventually go down. But I am only on my 2nd week now

By third week it will start to go down.
