Healing issues with circumcision.

I have undergone circumcision 19 days ago. Now after the surgery the glans head has healed on one side and on the other side still some yellow sticky coating is there. While dressing the wound I rub them away but they form again the next day. And when I remove those yellowish coating the glans remains still raw in some places. I want to know if this is a sign of proper healing or is it a sign of infection?

I get the same, 12 days post op. My GP told me it's part of healing. If the area smells, feels warm or is red, it's probably an infection. Keep the area clean, wash with sodium chloride and change bandages regularly. Remember our penises have undergone proper trauma.

The yellow deposits are perfectly ormal and harmless. They are dried lymph. Lymph is brought by your body to the site of any wound to help heal it. The excess lymph seeps out and dries on the skin.

Thank you for the information...otherwise I almost get scared everyday after seeing those yellow sticky fluid
