Update on shorter erection after circumcision

Hi, it's been 7 weeks since I had circumcision. I measured my penis today hoping that it has improved. However, It's still around an inch shorter and it is due to the short skin left for it to grow longer. Will this improve with time or it is what it is now. If any of you have overcome similar situations, please advise. I also had sex for the first time after the circumcision and it's worse than what I expected. It's too short for what I am familiar with and the stretch ball sack is preventing the condom to be fully unrolled along the shaft.
