I was circumcised 5 days ago - shang ring for phimosis. I've reduced the pain killer dosage as the pain has more or less subsided.
However, I get these random sharp pains through penile shaft and area. These pains last for about 3 to 4 seconds and then go away.
Is it just post surgery reaction and part of the recovery process? The surgeon will be pulling out to ring in about 3 days.

The pain was temporary and probably post surgery reaction. They stopped after the ring was removed. Hope this helps

I’m on my 10th day. Ring scheduled to be removed tomorrow. It’s waaay too sensitive. Lol. Also, did you get a bump under your penis?
This happened to me too. For me there might have been two reasons. When they injected numbing agent, it bruised the areas where it was injected and was bruised for 12ish days. The other reason is that the Shang ring is like a tourniquet and cuts off circulation to the veins that previously led from your shaft to the foreskin. For me, I had two veins that kept giving me sharp pain for a few seconds and go away. It was terrible at night too. When I got the ring removed, every single damn pain I had immediately went away!
