Pain after 20days post circumcision

I had circumcision 20days ago .. almost all the wound is healed except this part !

And the wound is paining since three days and sometimes even my penis is paining ! The pain in inside the penis is like taking nerves (sometimes suddenly) and on the wound it is sharp (continuos) .. do any one have any idea why is this ? Can any one explain this please !

But i asked doctor ! He said it is normal ! He also said my wound is healthy !

What do you think it is ?

I’m sorry this is happening. I got circumcised last week. I’m not experiencing what you are at this time, but my doctor did tell me that if the wound does open up, it will close on its on, as long as it’s not infected, and there is no need for additional stitches to be close the opening. In your case, it’s going to take longer than all the other skin to heal because the skin edges of the open wound are far apart from each other. The wound heals from the inside out by growing new cells that form together. It’s a wide area to fill in with new material and It can be an irritating or painful process as your body does its thing; new nerves and blood supply are being grown as well. A moist and protected wound heals better than a dry one. Dry air is not a great environment for fresh skin cells that are trying to grow. I suggest asking your doctor if you can put Vaseline on the scabbed area or if he can prescribe you an ointment that will keep the area moist and protected from air, dirt, clothing. He already suggested me an ointment and am using it ! He said wound is healthy after sending this picture.

So you also say this is okay ?!

I think the ointment sounds great. If the doctor says the healing looks good, then it probably is.
