Stitches not disolved after 6 weeks

Its been 7th week of my circumcision and seems stitches are still there and not completely disolved. Any suggestions?

Do you still have ends of stitches poking out from the scar?

Warm water baths help alot in my opinion but it's upto your body to break it down . I think it's safe to say that going back to your surgeon and getting them removed would be ideal . Usually at this point if there's still a great deal of suture material left , its best removed but if not much is left , it can be left alone . Hope this helps !

Greetings, i did my circumcision on 7 dec and now im in 5 week basically and i still have stitches are almost all gone. But, i have one that i dont see but a scab like brown this is on it. I though maybe my scar opened but it never bled. Did you experience this ? Or something like this ?

No that didn't happened to me. But in the 3rd week i noticed small sections of yellow discharges, than i started applying my betadine and the other medicine t-bect properly twice a day and within 2-3 days it was started looking fine again and no discharge afterwords. So, may be more cleanliness with warm water and applying timely medicines may help. However, also consult your surgeon on it..
