Day 5 of circumcision

Today is day 5 and everything is going well. The tip of my penis is not sore at all when touched, I am a but swollen and beneath my penis I have some yellow things is that normal. I can see some of my stiches they just haven't been absorbed by my body yet(doctor said my stiches will be absorbed by the body)what type of stiches are those, erections are killing I haven't had much sleep they not painful at all they just irritating but overall I dont have any pain,I can see some improvements in swelling so we good I think? I'm worried because um not experiencing pain like everyone else.

I didn't experience pain either and that has been the experience of many others. The yellow thing too is normal - I also frantically posted here about mine but was assured by all the other posts I subsequently discovered about it. It is likely lymphatic draining. My cut healed real quick but there was this round open wound underneath that only stopped producing this yellow liquid around 5/6 days ago (I'm now on day 21). The wound looked like a circular sore after that and got smaller day by day. It is now virtually gone. I could see the new skin forming around the edges every day for the past week. I opted to keep on applying gauze and antibiotic ointment and will only stop in the next day or so if the wound is completely closed.

Some more encouraging news from my experience:

I started showering normally from yesterday without any precautions other than just to wash with gentle soap and to not stay under the shower too long.

Initially my night-time erections wasn't hurting so bad as that it was just uncomfortable. However, because of the trauma to the penis (I think) I didn't get very strong erections - just many. This too got better until 4/5 days ago when I began to get my size back. Now I have fewer erections but they hurt more because of the stretch. Exactly in the spot where the open wound is in the frenulum area. Now because of abstinence I can't clean, or wash or barely look at my penis without getting hard. I can't wait for the 8 weeks to be over. I've gone from worrying about the healing to worrying about not feeling so horny all the time.

I still have two ore three stitches in place. I will give this a couple of days and then try and remove them. I think keeping on applying vaseline and ointment and everything wrapped creates a moist environment that helps dissolve the stitches.

Can you start gyming or are you still in some discomfort??? Normally what's been recommended for is too boil water let it cool then put my penis in the container for 10 min and you do this 2 times a day I think that might work for you too with your wounds and pain especially since you getting your size back.

I'm sure I would be able to gym. I'm a regular visitor to my local club and do weight training including quite heavy squats, etc. and I think my body will probably handle it okay. I am visiting friends over the holidays now so going back to the gym is not an option right now, but even if I was back home I would probably give it another week or two to be on the safe side and then proceed with caution. I see it as a forced time to recover from the weight work as well, enabling me to hit the gym that much harder once I see fit.

You can always support wound edges and decrease stretching on incision line by using strips of skin tape over it. For example 'Micropore' is reasonably priced comparing to 'Steri-Strip'.

Covering the wound area can reduce pain, too. Dissolvable stitches will absorbed just under skin and the both suture ends just fall.

Is the swelling between the glans and stitches normal ?

Yes currently the swelling under the glans is forming very well as in like the swelling is going down. My stitches are all soft when you touch them but none of them have dissolved.
