5 Days into Circumcision (Tearing)

Hi all, found this forum very useful and want to share my experience.

On the 5th Mar I underwent a circumcision, the surgeons used the sleeve technique.

As of recent (9th Mar), erections have already begun, which has caused little bleeding and tear by the frenulum scar, there is a DIY wound dressing applied.

Throughout the day I am laying down, with my legs tucked in and knees pointing, to keep my penis up right to help reduce the swelling.

My penis is so achey and has blisters forming on the head. I applied vaseline on my penis so the wound dressing does not stick and to ensure the urethra opening isn't dry and urine passes easily.

Hoping I don't get another erection tonight, to avoid further tearing.

Is this normal after 4 to 5 days?

I am at my 6th day and are experiencing some of the same things you are and I am pretty sure it is normal

Thanks for the response, woke up with my penis stinging. Had a semi erection, but woke to try and not let it go all the way. Going to change bandage, hope not so much blood around the frenulum scar.

I'm on same stage day 7. How is the recovery??

I am now 16 days post op, there are a few changes since this post:

-swelling reduced, but still there.

-urinating more straight, but does fork.

-i had a wet dream not painful.

-erections still regular at night, but not painful, just tight and achey, still bleeding, not a lot.

-lymph fluid has formed near frenulum, a slow and steady path to healing.

-my frenulum is itchy, looks to be a healing itch. Doesent smell.

-glands has red patch, ive put anti bac.

-blisters have vanished from the glands.

Slow and steady with the healing..

Same here... Frenulum is itchy, every day I see a spot of bleed at frenulum, blister still there at frenulum, today is my Day 12. Many stitches dissolved . Hope everything will go well. Good luck.
